The Problem with Pain treatment - particularly with opioid analgesics - A long list of side-effects including resistance and addiction are creating barriers to long lasting, effective therapy for acute and chronic pain conditions creating the vexing problems for both patients and medical professionals.


Opioid therapy is a cornerstone of severe acute and moderate-to-severe chronic pain management. Yet, side-effects and resistance are significant barriers to long lasting, effective therapy.


The interface of addiction and pain treatment - particularly with opioid analgesics – creates a common and vexing problem for patients and medical professionals.


Finding a solution that is effective, FDA cleared drug-free, comfortable, and safe for the patient is challenging for medical professionals.
